How to Buy Bitcoin at a Houston Athena ATM

Start at Buy Bitcoin. The machine texts a 6 digit code to your number to verify it, then asks how much you want to buy. Choose Scan Wallet QR Code and hold your wallet app’s receive QR up to the scanner. Feed your bills in one by one, check the total on screen, finish, and take the printed receipt with your transaction on it.

You need three things: your phone, a Bitcoin wallet app and cash. Above a certain amount we also ask for valid ID, and nobody under 18 can use the machine.
